How to check firmware version?

To check for the meter's firmware version, you can access it a few different ways. Firstly, make sure you are either connected directly to the meter, or to the network the meter is on.

If you know the IP address of the meter you can simply open up your browser and type in the IP address and the webpage should populate.
If you are using the Schneider revision of the meter configuration tool, open up this tool and login to the meter. If the firmware version is not in the "Unit Field Configuration" table, there should be another tab called "Meter Web Pages".
Once on the meter webpage, go to the "Info" tab and select "Manufacturer". You should find a section that lists the firmware revision and build number.

    • This firmware check seems specific to the PowerHawk family. It also appears that the first statement refers to just entering an IP address where the 2nd statement refers to the Schneider version of the tool. 
    • The info tab can be reached without using the tool by typing the IP address of the meter into your favorite browser.
    • Click on info
    • Clicking on Manufacturer to see these details.
    • regarding the Schneider tool statement we should only be referring to TRIACTA here for identifying any solutions. These tools all work in the same fashion.
